Hello from Pittsburgh
Hi there! My name is Sean and I live in Pittsburgh. I've been riding motorcycles for about a year and a half now, and I own a 2000 Suzuki SV650. I'm originally from South Florida but moved up here in 2002. My mom lost everything she had in a hurricane down there so I don't ever want to go back.
I've wanted to trade in my SV on a supermoto bike ever since I took the MSF course on a Yamaha TW200. Despite being less powerful it was just way more fun to ride than my SV650 was, and I was hooked.
Before I ever actually started riding, I had an idea as to what riding would be like and feel like. Unfortunately the experience was somewhat disappointing compared to what I thought it would be liked, that is, until I got on that TW200. That was what I always THOUGHT riding would be like.
I commute on my bike whenever weather allows for it and I'm not a speed freak. I've never had my SV650 into the triple digits, with the fastest I've ever taken it being 90mph. Outright speed just isn't my thing. This is why I think a Supermoto bike would be perfect for me, because they seem to be made for making riding fun at street legal speeds.
