Default New US made (assembled) supermoto

Looks like Highland has officially gotten in to the states after the ATK fiasco from a couple years ago.

    where did they come from?
i see the sweden address in the " .se" but ...
where do they forge or make their engines, source or build chassis?
    ATK and Canondale were forgettable
highland? hmm. i love the 750 big single option though
and why not be able to spec a bike to be just what you need?

The Highland is not just Assembled in the US - they claim the frames, engine cases, tranny, pistons, heads will all be made in the US

I bet some items like chains, suspension and whatnot have to be sourced out

Oh! a build your own tool coming out in Jan '10!
They need to fire their web guy or light a fire under his ass to keep it up to date.

In theory it seems awesome, shame about the website

By the way, before you purchase the 650, look-up the word "wheelwright". No...wait...don't bother...It's greek for "millionaire". -WARRIORPRINCEJJ
