There ok, they last a long time but i didnt find them to hold that well on the track. Iv personally used them but I prefer the Bridgstone BT601SS. If i had to pick a second id choose the Dunlop TT92 then the Sava Slicks. Iv ran almost every tire and find that the Bridgstones have the most traction and if you choose the proper compounds for your bike they will last a good amount of time.
Remember when asking this kind of question expect more confusion then before you posted this question. Its almost like asking what is the best kind of oil. Expect a lot off different answers. This is just my personal first had experience.

What do you think about the Bridgestone BT39SS? I need more confusion!!!![]()
BT39SS is a 10" version of the BT601SS............... Killer tire in 10"
IRC last a long time, better option than the TT92, why? Because in "our" experience they have much better feed back even though they tend to slide a bit. Not as good of overall traction as the BT601SS or some of the older SAVA "race tires". Expensive though......
ya might wanna sit around for a few weeks as the Heidenau is going to be coming to a few sources very soon.
American scooter center in Texas has just run out, I bought the last two rears. They claim they are going to import more very shortly and have yet to set a price as it fluctuates with the Euro etc...

I have an IRC front tire on my 65 and have been very impressed with it. Very good grip and feel, and lasts a long time.
I prefer the IRC over the dunlop tire, but the bridgestone is supposed to be the best. Bridgestones are hard to come by though, and kind of pricey when you can get them.
I have no experience with the Heidenau tires, but in April I will have 3 bikes running the 12" Heidenau slicksKX65, CR60, Xtreme CRII 140GPX motor.
word on the street is that racers in Texas have been using them with stellar results.![]()

I have had a first and experience with the Heindeau slicks. They were pretty good tires, but they did not last long at all. I felt like the tires ran through the heat cycles very fast as i had some rubber left with no traction (kinda like the Savas felt after a few races). I suggest tire warmers for any full slick. I still think if your going to spend that kind of money the Bridgstones are still the best tire on the track for minis (10" or 12").

I may have to buy tire warmers......... I know from personal experience that our northern tracks eat tires much slower than the southern tracks! Biggest consideration is getting the tire to temp in my circumstance. Most of our tracks are very smooth, only one track has an agressive surface and we mostly do endurance there so heat cycles are not an issue.
IRC 12" is a good choice.........Hope they work well for you
