Default What Bars came stock on the 06 DRZ?

I was wondering what bars came stock on the 06 DRZ? As most of you know, I just bought an 06 Saturday and was looking at bars for them and noticed Motostrano sold Tag X5 bars and those are the bars that my bike has on them now. So did I also win some new bars when I bought the bike? or are those the stockers?

    Thanks,
    Floyd

i would still upgrade to 1 1/8 fatbars though... they are so much more durable than regular 7/8 bars..

Ok cool, I am trying to focus on preventative maintenance right now such as the swing are pivot and shifter grinding as well as the other issues that TT has stated. Once I feel that I have a stable platform on which to mod, they will begin.

    Thanks

yeah definitely get the needed stuff done first.. grinding definitely is not good.... theres nothing wrong with 7/8 bars and most people run them, i just like the durability of the bigger ones...

how about a pic of the bike

I have and 06 and the bars were one of the first mods I did...The stockers are 7/8 and are very weak. Bike fell over in driveway and bent the bars. I suggest upgrading to 1 1/8 bar, much stronger and can take several falls. You will need an adapter that replaces the stock mounts. Very easy upgrade...

Another advantage to 1 1/8" is having to replace the stock 7/8" mounts, which have a rubber sleeve to reduce vibration. Getting rid of this really firms up the front end feel.
