What lake are you riding on ? Couple weeks before my CR80 is ready but progress is being made. I want to take the suspension up to Tech Care but that will mean more delay. Leaning toward riding it as is when I finish studding the tires then do wheels and suspension for my inaugural season riding on pavement. Like you say, this is all about having fun.

It's very cool you offer a strange old dude your bikes to ride. However, I guess I'll have to accept the poseur title this time. Too much to do b4 xmas. Maybe I'll walk down the street to commiserate with Jason about how cold it is and probably tell a few lies.
I have stock size tires on the CR - f=19, r=16. I have liners to make from used tires off my CBR and VFR street bikes. I saw your liners the other day and will pattern mine after yours. You are so right about shoulda had the tires done already. Seems like it was Labor Day just yesterday.

Ya know I don't do holidays, thats all BS mega consumerism............ I enjoy my time and try and get other people to enjoy the things in life that just happen.........

I tell ya what you and Jason should make a track on grass lake and we will come ride over there, Ronnie thought that one up its about the same drive time for all of us to make it there......... cept you dudes would already be there

That way there is no excuse

I Gotta rest up for the big day shaving ice crystals

I agree about holidays. I dislike ( Hate ) the whole thing.
I'll get with Jason and see what we can come up with. Sounds like a lot of fun.

SO if i didn't offer my bikes to virtually anyone that is respectable that rides. There would be no MIMRA! There would be no "scene" in Michigan.

Plenty of people had these things back in 05 when I started out but there was no "scene" around here. We (me and my son and daughter) had to drive to Fremont..... never had a spectacular time there. The other option was to drive 4+ hours to Circleville...... I just started renting tracks and making "it" happen. Because of people like Jason, Ron, Nic, Dave T. there are now people like YOU coming out and experiencing LIFE

We have multiple paved tracks right here
    We have great dirt tracks.
We have GREAT ice,, however with ICE you have to be willing to just jump out there cause it is always changing, tracks have to be made. Its not like there is a "track elf" making them for us........

We will most likely be riding most of next week someplace, depends on how this new weather front effects the ICE/snow on the lakes

I got back to school on the 11th then i'm very limited on play time

shave ICe when its here If there is something you really want to do, you have to do it, because tomorrow may not be here for you!

Ohhhhhhhhhh man i'm worn the F^#$k out......... What a blast! killer klown ICe two days in a row

That 150R is so insanely fun.......

Once the ice warmed up and I quit falling on my KX65, also yanked off the fuel catch bottle that was causing issues......... I was able to pretty much keep up with Nic

things to do; save up for an older 80/5cc 2S and have Jason work some motor magic, slap some 17" rims on it, have the suspension dialed in for flat tracking........ UBER sweet

Nic you better post up some killer pics

So glad I did not buy into the Metrakit or NSR bikes........

Man that 150rr is very mellow handling.......... just smooth as buttah, now the KX65 is tweaky as all get out. If I can I am making a swinger 3 inches longer just for such antics as ICE.

Great pics, we need to take more........ Fast Frank wants to come out and play now too.....

    Where's the pics?

Ice racing sounds fun. I've never seen enough ice to ride on, I have a hard time keeping a cooler full of ice down here.
