    Default Differences between DRZ

Are there any differences between the DRZ125 and the 400sm? I'm thinking mainly in terms of the wheels and spacing and things like that. i've got a DR125sm, which many parts from the DRZ125 will fit, and I want to get some new rims and a few other parts. Will DRZ-400 wheels fit the DRZ125?

Also, as far as chains go, can I buy any chain I want to put on my bike? I'm converting the bike to red and black, and want to accent the bike with more red parts.

If you want it to look like the 400sm just buy one.

Guessin yer from the civilised side'o'the pond,in which case try the DRZ forum over here. TBH, I dont think the wheels are interchangeable. At your point in (your young) life concentrate on riding the fuker rather than cosmeticaly modding it!

    Thanks for the input matt!

As far as modding goes, i've been quoted £5,000 a year on a DRZ-400 from 3 different insurance companies because I've got alot of points already, and not being from England doesn't help. Needless to say the 125 is only 1300 a year so i'm sticking with this until i'm 23 and my insurance rates will drop drastically.

I don't want to look like a 400, but many of the parts I want are the 400s only.

Did you get the points in england? If not don't mention them to the insurance. Try CIA insurance they are good for drz's I have a claim from 1.5 year ago. I got quoted £2,000 on bennetts and mce insurance (the best insurance companies in the uk) however CIA insurance £500 for one year that's £1,500 difference on tpft (third party fire theft).

I've got 3 no license charges from driving a car I bought here. 9 points there, so basically in danger of losing my license. I'm 20, and have only been living in the country about 2 years, and only on road with insurance for a total of about 3 months.

Hahaha beleive it or not just because it's not a 400, it still goes quite well. 75mph top, and fairly easy to clutch up some wheelies. This of course is before mods, big bore, new exhaust, race cams and ignition up in the next few months

    You need a moped...
Cops suck, lie and use inadmissible evidence... Fight a ticket next time better than I did... Ask the Judge what kind of vision a liar cop has to have, to see just how "close" you were "weaving" in and out of traffic by, if he was 3 cars back? I got news for you liars, we all look like we're "weaving in and out of traffic" from behind!
