Default I hate the drz dipstick

I mean why can't they just have a sight glass? its so much easier and simpler. I hate this stupid run it for a few minutes then let it sit for a few minutes then check it crap.

ok, rant over.. ride safe everybody

Also just curious.. Say the oil is barely touching the bottom of the dip stick, not that i let it get that low but, how much oil does it take to get it to the top?? ive always wondered that... whenever i check mine and its low i just put a quick chug in and all is well..

the easiest thing to do is just to check it every time you get gas.

you will get a accurate reading.

i think it is about 100-200ccs from the bottom to the top of stick reading.

Damn dry sump system, can't get away with a sight glass theres never any oil down there to get an accurate reading, besides I'll trade a shitty dipstick for the advantages of dry sump, like running a BP wheelie as long as you please and never oil starving!
If you can't get it done with 40 hp you shouldn't try it.

Compared to my Buell 1125R, my DRZ is easy to check. The Buel procedure is nearly impossible. I'd prefer a sight glass too but dry sump systems aren't easy to configure with one.
