I guess MGKT isn't the only track in America with paved jumps, colonial beach is giving the Herrins a run for their money.![]()
You've never ridden Road Atlanta or the old Talladega GP track, have you?![]()

Thing is, there is no jump there. I did not think there was even any significant bump. I think their is a dip in the asphalt, but not big enough to stand out in the pics. I guess his suspension is pretty stiff and it was enough to toss him up a few inches.
At speed its a bit rough through there.... All I seem to get is a little head-shake though... Not air!![]()
Perfectly timed picture.
I want to ride.
Wow, I had a similar pic of me last year with both tires off the ground on a straight. I have no idea how. lol But it does look awesome. Thanks for posting it...
That picture is an optical illusion!! I protest!!! I WAS IN THE LEAD!!!!!![]()

Sweet Husky. What size? I think if I was to get something else it would be a Husky or an Aprilia.
And the picture? No, I don't think they were on the brakes yet. Kevin isn't sideways.

Could be the fact that the thrust from all of his overflows spewing all over the road section is pushing his bike into the air. Is there no catch can requirement at all? LOL
We race in the pit area of the drag strip. It is covered with oil, gas, anti-freeze, etc. Nothing we could spit out of the bikes would do anything worse to the surface. I've had "puddles" of oil on the track from the previous nights drag racing that I've mopped up (about 4 quarts worth) & then spread some fast setting cement (MotoGP trick) to absorb what I couldn't wipe up. Even then I put a bale of hay and cones to split the racers around it.
When you don't have a track handy you make do with what you can get.![]()
