Default i need pics of a street bike rim on a supermoto

so i found out my firblade rims won't work... cause i don't have a good selection of tires that are 16' in the front

anyways, so before i take them back to my buddy to switch them out for the modern 3blade type that are on most sportbikes now adays, im not quite sure i like the look (my personal preference i just hate the 3blade look)...

so i was wondering if anyone had any pics of the 3blade rims off a sportbike that are now on a supermoto i could use as reference?

or maybe a good website that sells some good 16' 120/70/r16 tires???

I have Contis on 3 of my bikes....the 500 has radials. I love em.

Conti makes a selection of 16s, this is the only performance 16 I could find.
I have an account w/this place:

been there.... Pay attention to how you search for tires here... you'll never want to go to another site if you do.

no 120's but can you squeeze a 10mm wider tire on there?

I got news for you liars, we all look like we're "weaving in and out of traffic" from behind!

man thanks guys! i love the sites. any recommendations to the best milage tire for the front. i know it doesn't make a big difference but what is a good sticky long lasting tire for the front

thanks to u guys ill probably be keeping these rims, cause i really like them!

i just took a tape measure to the front forks, and it looks like i could just barely get a 130mm into the front forks. but i mean just barely. i might have to brake out the sharp knife and shave the side wall down a bit!

Look for a F2 or F3 Front wheel they are 17's and 5 spoke style. they are a dime a dozen with the Racers. and they are to expensive if you don't mind scratches..

Motopilot1: The thing I would worry about with any of the new Supersports (600,750,1000) will be wheel width. They are 5.5 or 6 and require 180/190 tire sizes and most likely would be to wide for the normal swap. Not saying it can't be done just letting you know it could be a big problem.

Default sport bike wheels on a dirt bike

i'd like to get some supermoto wheels for my klx250 but i don't want to spend a lot of money. i've seen people put sport bike wheels on a dirt bike before i'm just wondering how much trouble it is?

"not knowing how to cook, is like not knowing how to f#ck"
Explain that quote: I have my view of it, your missing one of lifes great pleasures? Who's quote is that? It could use some work. As to the sportbike wheels, he who can turn metal knows the pleasure and ease of fitting sportbike wheels to a klx on the cheap. He who can not only masterbates with thoughts of cheap wheels on a klx.

alright well first off u got to get the axle to fit! and ur gonna need to some new spacers.

on my cbr set up i have to trim down the axle, get new spacers, and the screw holts that hold up the plastic fork guards have to be trimmed down or the rim won't go on!

best advice is find a pair of tires, pull ur dirtbike ones off, and try putting the street rims on. look really long and hard to find out what u have to do to make it work before u buy it. depending on the rim and what size axle it takes and how wide the center of the rim is reletive to the dirtbike rim, will all tell u what u have to do!

i dont have the undertail exhaust anymore but i liked it at the time. i made it myself so it was kind of heavy and i didnt want to ride to rough offroad because of tire clearance.
