From Pro Italia... "We just spoke with an employee of Newcombs who just rode down the Crest to Pro Italia. Even though the road is still closed he said that the guardrails, signs, and roadside are in great shape all the way to Wrightwood. The road is as always but is also being cleaned. He said that he expected the Crest to open in November or December. Let's hope so."
