    Default Exhaust Slider???

    Hi Ladies and Gents,

I'm going to lay the bike down soon. The 690 SMC and Murphy are going to confirm the date any time now. The bike is stupid amounts of fun!

What is the best slider I can get for my Akro exhaust?? There has to be something better than a hose clamp and piece of hose.

    Is there??

I've got an APA exaust slider, and while it looks like hose, it is like no hose I have ever got my hands on. Very thick rubbery plastic type material.

I don't know of any other muffler sliders out there.

Our Muffler Slider material is a special formulation that is manufactured specifically for our Muffler Sliders. It is expensive to have manufactured and I have to have a butt load of it made in each run.

There was a guy who tried to pass off his product saying it was the same as ours on eBay. I purchased one to see and well..... it was a $2.00 attempt to knock off our materials..... and he didn't even use a stainless steel clamp!

While I designed this for SM I sell these to road racers vcs SM at about 10-1

This was down 2 times at 65+ on this R6 road racer.

Awesome product, as soon as I get home and measure up the clearances on my bike with my exhaust expect an order from me.

    Another option: http://www.rg-racing.com/browseType/...rotectors.aspx

I run one and it's worked great for me. They're a Brit company, but have many dealers in the US you can buy from.
