Default Goggles for people who wear glasses?

So I'm thinking about a MX helmet, but I wear glasses? What are my options?

Several manu's make them, including Oakley, SCOTT etc. look for OTG (over the glasses) on the packaging or description. I wear glasses too, and wear a street helmet because of it. It is bad enough to pay $300.00 + for glasses, then to have goggles scratching them up... no thanks.

there is glasses that will fit under goggles but, you have to worry about them fogging. or contacts, but some times they dry out. there is goggles you can order with lenses in them, they work well but are often expensive. there is always the permanent solution. eye surgery. thats what i did and it was the best investment i ever made.

i just wear an older pair of glasses under my OTG smith goggles. actually, i wear the same glasses under my street helmet as well.

not everyone is a candidate for corrective eye surgery.

^^^ what he said... Everyone that I have talked to about surgery ends up wearing reading glasses... If I'm gonna pony out that much cash, it better be for life...

some of that depends on age. got mine done right before i left for the Desert, and haven't had any problems at all going on 3 1/2 years. but to each his own.

if you can wear contacts, i found that those worked the best for me under a pair of dual lensed goggles (most had less air flow than single lensed.)

i agree with the age being a big part of the surgery, b/c all the people i know with it are fine and have been for years, eventually i will go to it as i was a candidate of the old glasses until an accident, which the glasses made it worse by the frames cutting into my face, now i'm into contact world, and yes it does suck when they dry out
