    Default 5280 Series Flyer. Finally.

    The Final Draft!!!

The sponsor logos aren't in any particular arangement, just what i felt was best aesthetically with what i was given to work with.

    I hope ya'll dig it.

PLEASE give credit to Steve Babirab Photography if your gonna post in other spots.

looks awesome, I almost missed the unicorn, glad to see she (it?) made it.

Only suggestion.. the "T" in the URL is a bit funky looking, but it looks that way all over, so I guess its good

unicorns are magical, they appear and disappear at will. Only someone with a pure heart and sole can see them. (I think?)

Might have to remove the "ass" as i know some shops will have a problem with this. Also, have you tried running it in a smaller version (4 to a page) to see wht it looks like for handouts? Also, the race dates are quite small, would there be a way to make them bigger or stand out more? I know if you buy the whole seat you'll only use the edge but I think we should focus on race dates. Looks good though, thanks.

I would add some more spacing between the letters which makes the text a bit more readable. I would also put the sponsors under eachother on one side and on the other side the logo and the classes. Just a few tips from a graphic designer

    given what Will sez..

Remove the "KICK ASS SUPERMOTO ACTION" move the "STARTS APRIL 19th" up as high as possible .. that leaves room to increase the font size on the round dates.

The logos do seem a bit .. jumbled? but I thought that was intentional

Not to bash the flyer it does look very good, but i agree with tommy on removing the ''kick ass". Makes us look bad

Thanks so much for your work on this for us. You are appreciated, maybe Mike will rub on you, I mean buy you a beer.

My two cents on the design. Really great and the suggestions sound reasonable. Bigger text for dates. Remove ass is fine either way for me but I understand the concern. The out of club designer that said classes on one side under logo and sponsors and contingency folks on other side sounds really good. I have one new bit that will piss off some folks I'm sure, but could you shrink sponsors/contingency (just a touch) to give room to make dates bigger? Will's idea of checking it in small is good too as it looks like some things may disappear if postcard sized.

thanks for all your hard work on this

p.s. I couldn't find the unicorn, my fish must be really dirty but I did notice that D. Walker is repping the 5280 logo on his gear, nice work. Holy crap, I did just see the uni. My day just got way brighter

"Kick ass supermoto action" was kevins idea. what a jerk!

Thanks for all the input it's greatly appreciated. i'll make all the changes suggested tonight. but in the end it's all up to what the Prez says.

i can make different versions for different sized prints. fitting the whole shedule on a notecard sized flyer is like fitting a size 12 foot into a size 8 boot.
(i'll just have to flip it vertically i guess)

i'm a little confused about what the dutch guy said... i'll have to re-read that post.

looks good to me,pretty busy graphically, think I had an epilepic siezure or an LSD flashback, reading it,also somebody splashed black ink or something all over it and the jap navy flag in the backround is spose to be red and yellow I think, but for a draft its pretty cool.for the final maybe less boulder county mushrooms.

the question is does it comunicate and will someone take the time to look at it , read it,remember it,or is this just an art project?

Saw the flyer at Erico. Looks good.

Wore my Rainbow tshirt to the track today, showed it to my dad, and with a straight face, said:
    "This is how we Roll."

I was expecting a stronger response but I guess he's used to me by now.
