Missing Rebound Springs XR650R

Hey, So I'm tearing down my forks to revalve, following the tear down guide from Borynack and I'll do the valving like rhythmofbeing did on his build

Thing is, once I got it all apart, and looking at the service manual, it looks like I'm missing the "rebound springs". It doesnt look like anyone's been into these before so I'm wondering, is this something Honda left out on some years or, should these indeed be in there, do I need to get some for when I reassemble this?

BWB63 over on thumpertalk gave me a heads up that these springs sometimes get stuck in the rebound tubes. Sure enough, they are stuck at the top.
I tried convincing them to come out, but no luck. I'm just going to leave them be.
So, if you tear your forks apart and do see these, look down in the tube to check, it's likely they are stuck there.
