93 mph on my wr250x??? uphill? from a stop? I admit to speeding .. was going around 65 in a 45, I may have hit 70 on the downside of the hill completely out of their view.

They were in a parking lot and had view of me for about an 1/8 mile. From where I left a stoplight tell I went OVER a hill. I was stopped at the stop light over the hill for more than 10 seconds before they came over the hill.

Just take it to court man. Running on these things is pretty much outta the question unless you got some seriously twisty roads or a golf course in sight.

Make them prove you were going that fast. Ask to see their radar. Ask them the last time it was calibrated. Seriously, don't put up with that shit. You admitted you were speeding, but dear God, 93mph on a WR250X? Really now, that's not even close to believable.

I know in my homestate, the court has upheld that the cop does not have to show the radar. Also radar will pick up the biggest object not the fastest. So if you had a car close infornt, beside, or behind you could bring that up. Calibrated is a good question also. I never calibrate my radar with tuning/pitch forks, only with the speedometer. I rarely write a ticket for what it says. I write a ticket for what speed you admit too. If that was brought up in court you might win. I rarely write speeding tickets anyway, that would be hypocritical

Did you by chance tell them that the only way a WRX hits 90+ is on a steep downhill, with a tailwind, in a full aero-tuck? Or maybe at sea level on a dead calm day with about a 10 mile run... Not making fun of the bike, I have one that's how I know...
