Got me 2006 DRZ.
Got it for 4200, I love it it has allot of mods (see below) the only problem i have is the blue graphics. Is it possible to buy the exact same graphics but red instead of blue?
where would i get them?

You can get other year models, I think one had a dark grey... Or you can go with another color, white, black, even blue all around.
But I should not say no, with money you can get anything. But there are no stock plastics with a red undertone for the yellow model.

I was looking in my buyers guide for 2006 and all of the DRZ's had red instead of blue graphics. I wonder why I cant find any. I have tried to go the custom route however they never replied to me. Does anyone know if I can peel the graphics off of my Gas tank? and if I do would I need to repaint it? My plan is to have the exact color scheme except for the blue being red.

the graphics on the tank are cleared over so if you took them off you would have to wet sand it and re clear it

also the heat shield on the exhaust, can i paint that or would it be better to buy a red one?
Check Ebay or Ronayer.com and buy the plastics that you need... You only need a tank, and the side shrouds. You may be able to get the stickers thru a dealer and look for a used tank on Ebay.
Oh yeah, and the seat.... you need a seat also.
Paint the shield... cheaper.

If you're asking if a "DRZ400SMK6" is a special model, the answer is no. It simply means "DRZ400 SM (supermotard) K6 (2006 model).
