klx 650 clutch problems

Hello,


my name is boris and come from germany.



I have on my klx 650 engine on some changes made.
Now I have the problem that my clutch does not work at speed.

do you have an idea what you could do?

on planetklx.de could not help me unfortunately



s here are some parts that I had changed

xr 600 Conrods
larger valves
sharper camshafts
Keihin FCR 41
programmable cdi

etc.

I had the same problem after I did some motor work on my 650. The issue was that the old worn out clutch held fine with the low power the old worn out motor was making but with the extra power it had after the rebuild it started noticeably slipping. New OEM steel and friction plates and springs solved it for me.

That is a nice looking KLX by the way. What head pipe is that?

I would also like to know what head pipe that is? What cdi do you have? did it make a difference? I have one of these bikes also.

Did the CDI make a difference? Who made the head pipe? Did it make a difference? Do you notice gains in power from the 41FCR? I just made my 650R into a 680 with stage 2 cams, ported head etc and am interested in the mods you have done. I am ready to buy all of these items but i would like to find out if they are worth the money! The only head pipe i have found is from four stroke works $350. 41FCR from sudco $607, thanks brian.

you can programm the ignition point from 7° to 40 °maximum rpm and some other parts.

it´s a plug and play system.

the long con rod creates a new engine.

the cdi has a very goog price. it´s cheaper like an original


some of my friends drives tm 42,40

but i think the best is keihin.

it´s very difficult to find the right position but it works beautyful.


i´m at the moment very busy at work, so i have no time for my bike.
