    Default Choosing tires help

I've asked about tires before, but last time I had the wrong information for the wheels. If anyone could help, I would apreciate it.

I have an Xtreme CRII that I currently have knobbies on and I'm looking to put some street tires on it. The wheels are 2.50 x 12 and I'm not sure what size tires to start looking for.

I don't want to do any racing, just a recreational tire that I can use on the streets.

Honestly, Dunlop tt92s. It's a "race tire", but really, it's WAY affordable. And don't you want the most grip? Even foolin around? I mean a crash is a crash!

check out the Kenda K761s! http://www.americanmototire.com/cata...th=362_409_414

It seems to be the popular street minitard tire......

In fact we are going to test them on dah track soon......... just to see how they perform and last under race abuse, They worked good as a rear ICE tire..... they should work well in the dirt too.......... they might even be a decent "sumo" tire

They will be mounted to the stock Xtreme CRII 1.85X12" steel rims......

    For the rear the 120/70

    For the Front the 110/70

Gonna test just the rear first with a BT601 up front......... just cause it is already mounted and WE know it will stick like glue.

Also the Shinko SR007 is a viable option for pimping around on http://www.bikebandit.com/shinko-tir...36780a4a634822 works well on dirt or pavement...... a great combo tire for general minitard activities.......
It just barely has clearance on the CRII 2005 old school forks.
A local friend of our uses them all the time....... he is at mid pack for race pace on pavement and dirt. he uses them on an Xtreme and a RM85
