Default Anyone found silver touchup paint to match?`

The silver paint on 2005-2006 (at least) is quite different, I've not been able to find any automotive that closely matches it yet. Anyone else have any luck?

Bring the tank to a auto body paint supply. They have this stuff like cops use on chips of paint to ID hit and runs. They photo it and do this anylasis stuff and can mix up a exact match. They can even compensate for paint fade. Hi tech stuff so my description isn't accuate but I know it works. Cost here is about 15 for about 8 oz. Some supply houses can even put it in a aerosol can with a quality spray tip. It is common for body shops to bring the gas tank door in for a sample.

I believe they use a spectroscope/spectrograph to do this procedure. Something to do with prisms like the reflections on a cd. But I am not sure. Any auto body/painters here? Even better, any junior scientists? Ask a simple question and get a complicated answer.
