    Default Need help

I just saw a set of excel 12's for a drz110 on ebay with new Dunlop slicks. The buy it now is $225. Is this a good price? Not sure what used rims and rubbers are going for. Thanks in advance.

Find out the width on the 12's.... I personally would not be interested if they were less then 2.15's

First off Dunlop does not make a 12" slick, 2nd off anything less than the 2.15" X 12" is a waste of time (unless its next to FREE or came on the bike)....... due to your tires profile has been designed for a 2.50 rim or wider......

We know from experience that the 2.15 or larger is the way to go....

    On pavement AND dirt

If nobody buys them it might be a way into TT92GP tires and an extra set of hubs to lace onto the proper rims? that way you'd have dirt wheels and SUMO/Roadrace wheels

Not less than 2.15"....Dunlop no makee slick.

Here's a set of savas that my son ran ragged and still turned decent lap times on..... he likes to slide though anyway.

We are thinking about it, we actually started checking into that flat track group that was posted over on SEMRA but right now we've got enough money to do the season with SEMRA and maybe 1 or 2 wera races. Both my kids learned to ride on street tires in the smooth grass field next to my house so both love to slide the back in around. My son has just recently started backing in the bike on the track though. He was backing in his KX65 at Starke in a few corners and rode the bike like a champ. He is still learning that there is a time and place to do it and its not on every single corner.

Sorry for my mini dumbness. I'm a newb when it comes to these little guys. They have Dunlop tt91's on them. Almost new still have the little tits on them. I bought the wheels. For $225 what the hell. If they don't work (I'm sure they will, I've been known to ride just about anything. I don't need the best.) I'll pass them off to a nieve person like myself. Thanks for the help guys.

Not bad tires, they are ooooooooooold but still decent if they were stored properly... superseded by the TT92GP.

    BUY um
