Default Pacific GP - Curbing is in

They have got the curbing in at Pacific, must mean pavement is coming sometime in the near future.

    First practice day is??

Everyone that wants to ride at Pacific needs to send them a PM via there website to let them know just how important supermoto is to the viability of the track - lets show them how many customers they can expect by giving us track time. Seems odd that opening day is only a month away and they don't have SM practice day on the scedule yet. Lets give them an earful of cheers to see if we can get some track time first thing when this place opens. I know WHR/SMUSA guys are working on the racing side, hopefully they will get some race dates in the near future locked in. I still say eveyone should contact them privately to let them know we would like to see regular practice days worked into the scedule regardless of the racing.

    Cheers
    Chris

I got a great response from Paul this afternoon from an email that I sent last night. He assured me that SM will be taken care of, and he wants to have suggestions on where the dirt should go and how much of the track should be dirt or asphalt. nice guy, and I look forward to dealing with Paul (or his group) in the future.

That is on a Tuesday, though. I think that is going to be a vacation day...

*cough-cough* I think that I am coming down with something. Probably just a case of the, um, carry the three, 7 1/2 week flu.

    I hear it's contagious.

They haven't just scheduled one supermoto day, check out the main calender. There is supermoto practice planned for every Tuesday for the entire year!!! One per week, four per month which gives us 35 track days between May - Dec. I am loving that.

    Default Demand dictates change

I sent and email to PGP, and asked if more practice days would be added. The email I got back said, if there's more demand than just Tuesday Practices then changes can be made. So I guess we keep emailing them for more practice days, like on Thursday and Friday's. Then we just have to show up to keep the days going. It's a business, and whoever is filling the pockets will probably get the track time

once it is on a weekday, for most people it won't really matter much which weekday it is. I would think that switching the supermoto practice to Monday would not affect anyone else, and it would allow more people to attend.

Email the contact off the website and explain... I'm sure they want to open it up to the greatest number of people on any given day. I would think a representative of Eastside Motorsports would be listened to since you have been the biggest sponsor of supermoto in the area!
