2001 DRZ400S Good Deal?

I have recently found somone willing to sell their DRZ400s that they have converted to sm. The bike has about 5000 miles on it, said he used it primarily as a dirtbike on single track for a year, and the engine is bored out to over a 430. He is asking $3000. Is this a considerable deal? Some help would be much appreciated.

If he has both sets of wheels AND you really can look that motor over and see if it was done correctly, it could be a good deal.

Ask him what kind of big bore kit he used.

I wouldn't give more than $2000-2400 in this market. The big bore could be a nice mod, but could just as easily be a headache. What wheels, brakes, etc?

I Have a Suzuki DRZ 400 for sale extra set of tires has dot knobbies on it now
speedo has alittle over 3,000 on the dash bike has custom paint on the fairings bike has oversized gas tank which is about 6gal. tank compared to the 2.5 or 3 it is stocked with bike is fun on the trails and i ride with the sport bikes too!

def offer like 2000. I just sold my 06 for 3000 and it was mint. NO way that bike is worth 3000. Plus it has engine mods so something could possibly be wrong with it
