Guys, what's the top speed of the Husky?
Do most people regear them or not?
I'm considering dropping more teeth on my 690 SMC for instantaneous wheelies and I'm curious about your speeds.
Thanks.

Uhhh... I went UP a tooth in the front with my 510 SMR and can power wheelie in 1-4th. I've got the powerup kit, but the motor is otherwise stock. I've hit 116 on the freeway with the larger front sprocket, but without a steering damper it gets a little loose and headshakes-- Okay, a lot loose!
How do you like the BStone intermediate tyres for the street?
I've highsided one over a 100mph with 16/42 gearing...![]()

05 510SMR W/ 16/42 gearing, JD jet kit, Leo Vince X-3 open baffle and I saw an indicated 109 mph laying as flat as I could get with my left hand holding the fork tube ala dirt tracker. Not doing that again anytime soon but I just had to know, ya know?![]()
went +1 in the front and getting on the freeway got it up to about 105 or so........hold on tight![]()

116mph @ 9.5ish rpm take it for what is worth on the stock speedo.....
Someone put this together awhile back, just fill in your #'s for theoretical speed.

Bummer
92mph, with a 16/42 " Breaking it in" , I was gun shy. 40 mph in 2nd on
surface streets in SC is a bust. I swapped to a 15 and all was cool.
I run the 14 a lot duel-sporting, cart tracks and SC twisties (paved
goat trails).Unless you plan on road-racing or burning it
up on flat roads with squids " 1 up (15) is good for all.

Thanks guys.
Those things have considerably more top speed than I would have thought.
