Default Need some info and spec. on 510 Husky

I'm pretty set on buying the SM 510R within the next month but I had a few questions, I Can't seem to find any info on the bike. First question is if it's a dry sump system? I hear it pretty much wheelies on demand and I can honestly say that front wheel will be in the air alot, just don't want to starve the motor of oil and create problems in the future. The other question was the weight? The only other concern I have is I will be useing this for pretty much everything, tearing up the back roads and some main roads. Not to much highway but I'm sure I will be on some hear and there. Does anyone think this will be a issue if I'm on highway or main roads about 20% of the time? Any advice will be helpful, Thanks guys...

The dealer I was looking at is selling the bike for just under $9000 That seems like a lot form what people are saying there paying for them on here. The next closest dealer is alomost 75 miles away, I guess I'll price them out to see who has the better price.

All of your questions can be answered in the Husky section.......

For all that you've mentioned it seems a KTM might just be what you're looking for....

OK thanks, I'll check them out. What model specific do you think would be best. I really like the dirt bike look rather than something like the hypermotard or KTM's bigger bike. For some reason I think the husky bike is really sharp. Thanks for the sugestion man.

It is a wet sump oil system. Long wheelies can be done but that also depends on how vertical you have the bike and how full you run the oil level in the bike. Its not "made" for that but it will do it. some street riding is fine, im not sure about highway riding (interstate) It would all depend on how many miles at a time you plan to do. Its a great bike and im glad i have mine. The price does sound a little high.

I think you would be better off with a Husqvarna SM610 or a KTM 640, 660, 690 or 625 SMC.
