    Default cr500 supermoto

have been thinking about building my rm250 but cant stop thinking about the 500. Now i found a fair price on a cr500 locally and its got me thinking. Its a 96 model. Im not sure what year would be the best but seems like i have read that the 96 model has the bigger forks.

Are there any reasons i should hold out for a newer bike?

96 has the better forks. it has the wider ratio transmission too. i say go for it.

hey camaro is that the one with the crank seal issue? I talked to him and was a little leary about the maintenance on it and the recent top end. have you seen this: http://springfield.craigslist.org/mcy/1055223210.html he started at 1850 last month, 1650 2 weeks ago and last week 1450.
