Probably about right. I'm running 14-41 on my '01 yz426 and can just get a touch of 4th gear on the back straight at times. Use 1st a lot though.

Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity

    Tony,

It's a bit longer than RA and a 14/47 should be about perfect for your YZ450F.

Tony, the back straight at Springfield is longer than the straights at Norway, but maybe not as long as road america (if you include the fast right)

Matt beat me to the punch!

Barring any unforseen issues, I will be heading down. My buddy Seb just moved back to Chicago from a year + stint living in Indy, and he will be coming as well.

Can somebody tell me when we really should be at the track for tech and sign up? Things typically always start a little later but I'm not sure if its like that all the time.

Chase with a new ride... What you got for this year? And I wondered where Seb went. I hadn't seen him at New Castle last season. Sounds like a good crowd coming to the first race at LoL.

Wish all you guys could have made it to Florida last weekend. There were a lot of good riders there for you to race and perfect weather. I ensured the good weather by purchasing a set of rain tires a few weeks before the event! Maybe if I buy some studded ice tires it'll be warm and sunny March 29th in Illinois.
