What's the deal with Rodger Hayden? Just saw he was granted a leave of absence from the Daytona 200 by Kawi... WTF

I get the impression he didn't have the speed and endurance. He hadn't ridden since (IIRC) August, and just got back on the bike a little while ago. Because the the flip-flop DMG rules, nobody seemed to get a head-start on bike building and testing. Methinks this put Rog behind the 8 ball a lot more then most others.
Hacking will be there, and as usual, will be a man possessed.
