Thread: ???are yz85 and rm85 hubs the same??

    Default ???are yz85 and rm85 hubs the same??

    i was told yz85,rm85 are the same for the front use same rotors..and i was told kx85,rm85,yz85 rear was the same is this correct???...

    I think that KX85 and RM85 hubs and rotors are the same due to a parts agreement.

    KX and RM 85 front ends were the same a while back, but that ended a couple years ago. The 110's and 125L bikes were identical but the two strokes had some differences. Yamaha was never part of it. I'm not saying the hubs would n't work I'd just double check everything.

    Nefariousd was the one who told me yz85 and rm85 fronts are the same as far as rotors and spoke count and yz85,rm85,kx85 rear are the same as far as rotors, sprockets just wanting to be sure before I buy...

    late model RM 85's & YZ 85's use the same wheels, front & rear, the sprockets are the same, the front rotor is interchangeable & the rear rotor is the same. My son has an '06 RM which I have YZ rotors on.

    I know the KX sprockets have strait holes and the RM has holes that are beveled. You maybe able to just switch the bolts, but I'm not sure.
