October 10th Race Info & Contingency

If you are interested in racing with us on October 10th, I have a room rate deal worked out with the Gold Strike Hotel and Casino in Jean. (800)628-6682 Room rates are $34.95 for Friday night and $44.95 for Saturday night, but you have to reserve them by October 3rd to get that rate. The room rate is under the name, SUPERMOTO RACERS. Jean is about the same distance as "The Strip" is from the track (10 minutes), and will be substantially cheaper. Camping is also available at the track Friday and Saturday night if anyone is interested.

There will be contingency for several of the classes. This is what we have in place so far:

- $200 purse for the Sportsman Class
- $200 purse for the Novice Class
- $250 purse for the Stock 50 Class (16+)
- $250 purse for the Modified 50 (up to 88cc) Class (16+)
- $150 purse for the Unlimited 50 class (16+)
- All kids that race with us get a trophy and some sort of contingency give away

I will be driving from Bakersfield Friday night.
And I will take you up on the room rate to, going to make reservations today.

I called the Goldstrike hotel on 2,Oct and could not get the rate for Supermoto Racers, they told me the cut off date was 1,Oct. I talked to the hotel director and he told me no way I was to late. I ended up paying $79 for Saturday night. Now I am mad because I would have done it earlier in the week if I had known.
