OK, Now you gave me inspiration to dig out the 360 Astro that has been sitting in the garage for years. Gotta find time to get her running and have some vintage fun.

Btw, What are you using for the front brake/fork setup?

Crap, send it to me. I'll have that thing down to the frame, split the cases and rebuilt quicker than you can say S & W shocks.

    Wow that is gorgeous.

I have been wanting to convert my old 74 trials bike over to Supermoto in the worst way.

I know the bike is a gem in stock form and rare but I think it also would have the ultimate "Fonzarelli" factor that your Bultaco totally has. The hand-built aluminum tank , side panels , and fenders and a set of 17's would be quite he combo.

I'm tempted to force myself to learn some photoshop skills just so I can visually mess around with some ideas.

Amazing ride and thanks for the inspiration to all of us who are thinking about doing up some vintage SM's.

your not losing your mind. Bultacos are backwards. it shifts on the right with the kick starter and rear brake on the left. I used to road race a bultaco metralla replica.

Is that an Astro? I at first i thought it was a pursang but its a square barrol which mean it has to a be a later model.

Not mine, but another cool Bultaco. This one lives in my friend's living room and has some flat-track racing lineage. (a little before my time, maybe someone else can chime in)

A bit off topic but does anyone have pictures of vintage bikes with modern suspension and engines and such? Or even modern bikes with an old school look, a bit like CCM's FT 35 and 710, which I think are super trick.

Damn, I have been trying to suppress the urges for a very long time now... but it's final... this is going to have to happen to my 71 Triumph T25, it's slow as all hell anyway, may as well make it handle well haha... Oh boy...

    That's absolutely beautiful!

I ran into (not literally) a fellow with a Bultaco flat-tracker once when I was at Hollister:

I have no patience, though - I just want to get something cheap that I don't mind dropping and ride it a lot.

    Default More vintage bikes

Example of old Yamaha XT 500 rebuilt by Miles Motors in Germany. Prices are pretty steep, but it seem like you get a nice product.

I´m not having much luck attaching a picture, so you will have to click the link yourself.
