i was going to go with a dual star mirror. Just called them and they said they are out of stock and being made in batches that wont be dont for a few weeks. This may be a good option. I want to see a powdercoated orange one!

Can I remove the black adjuster knob to remove the mirrors on the track? Is the price listed for one mirror? Thanx! They look trick!

Correct....... there is adjustment at 3 joints. Loosen the knob and slide it in the bracket track, swivel the mirror or rotate the mirror in or out.

I've got a pair of these and the're great. The thumbscrew comes right out when you are going to the track.

Remember their are 2 different mounting methods. One bolts to the clutch or brake perch and the other is a bracket assy that goes around the handlebar.

I'll be ordering up a set of these...the only hold up is I'd like to see what the orange powder coat looks like. It'll be those or the black ones, just not sure on which yet.

As of right now I only have the aluminum samples shown. As soon as I receive the 1st shipment I will be adding the appropriately colored pictures. Only the mirror housing is powder coated.

Sorry guys there was a delay from a machine breaking. Its now up with chips flying.......and the housings are headed to the powder coater today. I should have the shipment in my hands this Friday and will ship on Saturday.

Mirrors update - The 1st production run took a little longer than expected due to a machine breaking but a partial order will arrive tomorrow Sep 28th 2007 so we can start shipping orders.

The bad news is this partial shipment is only enough to fill 1/2 of the orders that were placed. A 2nd much larger shipment will arrive in about 2 weeks and all remaining orders will be filled.

Yes the clamp type is needed for KTM's Huskys and Bergs.

I meant to get some pictures on a KTM last week when rb560smr and I went riding.

MIRROR UPDATE:

Sorry to say that at this time the company that was CNCing the mirrors for us has had to stop. We are looking for other venues to CNC for us but at this time we are sold out of the complete assembly's and have temporarily discontinued the mirror line.

We will post again when we resume production.

Since we are starting completely from scratch we have no specific ETA....could be a month or 2 - 3 months ........ but they are being made again!

Quick update on the APA mirrors.

As you may have guessed starting 100% from scratch on this new mirror project has not been a fast project.

I just had a meeting with the machinist this morning and we are still working on some small improvements to the mirrors then he still has to write the CNC program before the chips start flying. If yours is Black anodized that will take a few weeks longer to go threw that process.

Hopefully only another month to 6 weeks.

BTW only 5 people have stepped forward and placed a Pre-Production order.....MAKES ME WONDER IF YOU GUYS REALLY WANT ME TO MAKE THIS INVESTMENT TO HAVING THEM MADE AGAIN.
