The most important question is... will the new model have new stickers??? How did you miss that question![]()
Next DRZ SM needs FI and a 6 speed box and it's perfect if you ask me, perfect for what is it anyway, basically a commuter supermoto.
I was at a dealer the other day buying a new KTM , I have the SMC and was just picking up the enduro R . There was a suzuki rep there and got to chating with him about all the bikes not just KTM or suzuki .
The manufactures seem to have cut way back on production on alot of models as most of you guys know , the rep said you will not see a supermoto in suzuki line for many years to come .
Said the northeastern and westcoast was the biggest selling area , the numbers did not justify keeping the line alive .
Was told there working on fuel injection for the 400s for next year but its going to be more like 2014 .
The DRZ 400 sm was a great starter machine sad to say I will miss it ... Thats why god created KTM

Some people wonder all their lives if they've made a difference. The Marines don't have that problem.-Reagan
I said to the rep your company can put fuel injection in the LTR 450 and RMZ why not just put that into the drz even if it was the enduro , all the guys would buy them and just sm the bikes .
I think it would scare the crap out of the regular joe blow riders even in dirt form .
I was like Joe the plummer for what the rider really wants ... LOL
