Nice! odd pipe on that DRZ....

LOL! Funny story about that one, thats the Ken's Cycle Center special. That is a shop bike they took in on trade and used old parts laying aorund in the shop to get it ready for the indoor season last winter. They put it together last year and as far as I know haven't done anything else to it (except fix a few exhaust clamps here and there).

Actually the two indoor locations we ride at have excellent grip. Some of the kart tracks will make their surface slippery to make it more of a challenge but the owner of our venues thinks tat you shouldn't have to fight the track and be able to be consistent in your lap times....

Nice! odd pipe on that DRZ....

That pipe is leftover sraps. We are working on a new exhaust for my DRZ. Its going to be an undertail. Look for it at the next track day. Bike 678

Lotsa gripp. Only big slides of the day came from people getting over confident on lean angles and going up on peg mounts. Then there was verry limited grip!! It was a great place to ride, and if you can make the next one, I guarantee you will like it!! Dont worry about the walls, poles, or tires around the track. You would have to get pretty out of shape to get at those items. Happy Hollidays!! Bobb still cheates!! Ed Carpenter 944

Thanks for taking pics Scott, I had a ball ! Dulles was shiny and slick by comparison but that is kinda a good thing 'cause it keeps the speed down. 'Kept me down too a couple of times

Hey there Mr. Knee Down Carpenter, when we gonna ride some ?? I just got back from Charlotte w/ the DRZ400, nothing but trouble there. Let's ride the mini's in a lot somewhere.

Cheers,

Bobb

Sorry to hear that there is trouble! Anything I can do just say the word. Give me a call and sure we can get it going. I would like a first person account of dulles, and also find out if you rode that dirt track in Nc. Ed

OK

The 'trouble' is these flashing blue lights that appear then disappear whenever I ride the thing. they seem to go away when I twist the thingy in my right hand, but then all I see is sky so what the heck ? Am I doing something wrong ?

When I ride with you guys and twist the little grip thing all I see is ground, ceiling, ground, tires. Oh yeah, and that laughing sound when you ride over me.

The blue lights dont mean anything!! They are holliday decorations on public servant vehicles. Just smile and wave, but dont stop. They are not in the christmas sperit, something about having to work on hollidays. Call me well ride!
