We are posting this brief interview / press release below that was sent by Garry McCoy.
PREVIEW – VILLARS SOUS ECOT
GARRY McCOY 100% FIT FOR THE SECOND ROUND OF SUPERMOTO
After a disappointing weekend in Castelletto di Branduzzo, McCoy is coming back for the second round in France without injuries.
The aussie rider was very frustrated when he saw that all his efforts put on this championship were slipping off his hands in one day.
“I felt quite frustrated after that weekend but now it ´s forgotten and I want to think just about this one coming. For me again it is going to be like the first round of the championship.”
McCoy spent the first half of his break going to doctors trying to find out what was wrong with his hip and left leg.
Fortunately for him it was just a strong contusion in the left side of his hip and probably too much effort on the muscles of his left leg.
“Well I went to see a few doctors and they all seem to have a different opinion, but the most of them told me to try to relax for the rest of my break and that´s what I did.
To be honest after all the non stop training and work that I had to do before the first round I think I probably was needing that little bit of a break. It felt quite good. Now I am just too anxious to get back on the bike.”
