Dirt offered for motorcycle abuse in VA!!

Everybody, some folks are considering some outlaw type racing near VIR this coming spring. Dtalbott is gauging interest to show the owners (http://forums.13x.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=66169) how many will come to ride. He started the thread on the WERA bbs, so I X-posted for him here. Afterall, more moto junkies hang here than anywhere else. :infrandom

I wouldn't make the drive to race or ride all dirt, I can do that locally.

However, I would make the drive to ride the Patriot circuit or the go-kart track. I know dirt is the issue with VIR, and I would be quite happy to run asphalt only at VIR on either of those tracks.

I think we should consider getting a motard group together to rent Summit Point's Jefferson Circuit. I think that would be a blast. :thumbup:

hmm.. so who all actually races a 'tard at vir? i was up there a few weekends ago on my streetfighter for a wera race, and i only saw 3 bikes. i'm looking to get into ametuer racing on the east coast, a big group of guys i ride with are racing wera this season, just curious what i'd be up against.
like i said, i didn't see a whole lot going on as far as motards go.

I would definatly race at VIR. I had the opportunity to ride the Patriot Course with SMUSA 2 seasons ago and I would love to do it again. I dont know about riding all dirt, but 80/20 or all pavement would get me there. I live in Indian Trail (Charlotte, NC), so any racing near this area and you can count me in.

That is a big ass track for tards but I am sure they can cut it down somehow. I would be down for a weekend there but just a day would be kind of rough.
