are the new Aprilia svx 4.5 and 5.5s going to be allowed to compete this coming summer?

The AMA hasn't decided anythig yet (although they are trying to ban it). Aprilia is trying hard to prove that the bike is competitive and not dominant.

Aprilia may also be running a "Aprilia Cup" type series for the sxv. Most local groups (nonAMA) are allowing it to run from what I understand.

Only the 450 will be here as an '06. The 550 will be an '07 available 3rd or 4th quarter.
